We invite you to the first edition of an unprecedented race in Cardona, a vertical rush that will take us from the Portal de Graells to the top of the Castell.
The route to be taken corresponds in part to the suburb of Graells and the roads that led from Cardona to Berga and the Pyrenees. And partly, in the old Camí Cobert, the road that linked the town with the castle under the protection of the cannons of its garrison. In the past, crossing its doors meant entering the fortress and its watchtower, the Minyona Tower. Some did it in search of the security that their strongholds offered. And others, with the will to win it and make it their own, overcoming the gap and the thousand difficulties posed by their defenses. Now it’s your turn to do it, in a race that will make yours the strength never defeated by weapons.
The designated day to hold this event is April 7.
The first runners will leave the Graells portal at 9:30, individually or in pairs (depending on the number of registered participants).
The price of the adult race will be 12 euros in advance and 18 euros on the same day.
You can pre-register until April 3, 2024 at 11:59 p.m.
